What would it mean for industry if every joint, hinge, and actuator were as smooth, powerful, perfect, and clear as a whispered secret?

That relentless drive to understand and improve motion dates back to our founder’s childhood. As an eighth-grader in a cluttered garage, Bryton Praslicka tore apart speakers, motors, and household gadgets—each blown fuse and failed experiment only deepening his fascination with physics and the art of motion. He wasn’t just fixing devices; he was learning how energy transforms into precise movement and dreaming of ways to make it better.

That relentless drive to understand and improve motion dates back to our founder’s childhood. As an eighth-grader in a cluttered garage, Bryton Praslicka tore apart speakers, motors and household gadgets—each blown fuse and failed experiment only deepening his fascination with physics and the art of motion. He wasn’t just fixing devices; he was learning how energy transforms into precise movement and dreaming of ways to make it better.

At Texas A&M, Bryton teamed up with a handful of like-minded engineers to turn those garage-born experiments into something revolutionary: a magnetic gearbox prototype—no metal teeth, no grease, just pure attraction delivering smooth, dependable torque so robust that NASA deemed it “mission-critical.”

Imagine a gearbox so resilient it never needs maintenance—even in the vacuum of space—how would that change everything? That very idea drove us to evolve beyond a single prototype. We transformed magnetic gears into a full suite of motion solutions: motors, contact-free gearboxes, encoders, controls and analytics, all designed for seamless, plug-and-play integration.

In customer's labs, what looked like an elastic “springiness” became our defining advantage. Controlled compliance lets machines yield gently to human touch, then snap back with micron-level precision, ideal for collaborative robots, clean-room handlers, and lunar rovers alike. Today, FluxWorks systems deliver robust performance in the harshest environments on Earth and beyond. Guided by rigorous science and a sense of wonder, we blend precision engineering with inventive thinking. Every prototype we test and every partnership we forge is another step on a journey defined by curiosity, collaboration, and a commitment to push boundaries.

This is only the beginning. As automation, robotics, and AI continue to evolve, we’re poised to shape what comes next. Join us and imagine how far magnetic motion can take us.
